+Fight to the Death+ is my favorite of your pieces thus far because it combines compositional elements I like with a color palette I favor. First, I am a fan of the "crowded" framing of an image so that the viewer really gets to focus on the most basic of what is needed to have an emotional reaction to the model. Your piece strips away the distractions of background and fashion and cuts to the heart of embodied rage here. The eyes and the mouth are very expressive and wonderfully simplified. Even the "make-up" you have on your model is amazingly simple but cuts right to the essence of the calavera catrina expression. I like the dark colors and your stylisitic eyes really set this apart from many other pieces I have seen of similar composition. Well done.-Lou
